Anarch Revolt Deck Builder Updated 11/03/2007
Graham Smith has built a new version of Ardb for Windows. This brings Ardb in
line with the current Mac OS X version. The automatic database update option works
but it still fails to import Zoo Hunting ground. This will be his first bug fix.
You can now assume that Ardb for Windows is under active development. He's looking
for volunteers to help with the Mac OS X and Linux versions.
The first release can be downloaded from: http://ardb.googlecode.com/files/ardb_1_11_2007.zip
The project home page is now at: http://code.google.com/p/ardb/
He would like to thank Francois Gombault for releasing the code under
the GPL so that the original project can continue.
Please send bug reports (with the subject line ardb bug) to:
graham.r.smith@gmail.com.

New Palm database for card searchs announced 05/31/2007
Johannes Walch has constructed two Palm databases for use with this fine Palm database application: http://pilot-db.sourceforge.net/
The application allows you to search and filter the data, an advantage over a simple text file. Make sure you check "Use filters" in global preferences to be able to filter. Also install the plugins for the DB tool.
The files are here:
http://www.vtes.de/vteslib.pdb
http://www.vtes.de/vtescrypt.pdb
The card text field is defined as a "note" field, so you have to click it and the text will open in a new window. "string" wasnt good enough, because it truncated some of the text of the long cards and had problems with the newlines.
This is linked from the utilities page.

North American Continental Championship dates announced 03/04/2007
We are pleased to announce the dates and venue selection for the V:TES
North American Championship 2007 in Los Angeles. The 2007 NAC and Week
of Nightmares will be held September 17-23 at the Los Angeles Embassy
Suites LAX South. The hotel is a one-of-a-kind facility that provides
the perfect setting for the premier V:TES event in North America. The
Embassy Suites is also a great jumping off point to do any tourist
stuff in Southern California. Best yet, we're right next to the
airport and only 2 miles from the beach.
Check out http://nac.vtesinla.org for more info.
The Location page of our site has more information about the venue.
Take special note of the free cooked-to-order breakfast and the
nightly Manager's Reception that includes free finger foods and
alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Yes, that's right! You can get
free liquor for 2 hours each night from a bar that is right next to
the Ambassador Ballroom.
We're confident that this will be the first of many announcements
about the 2007 NAC that will make it clear that this is an event you
won't want to miss.

Release Date: March 19, 2007
Pierce the Veil
For preferring an honest fight to feigning subservience to mortal morality, the Sabbat calls itself the Sword of Caine. The edge of this sword is the Black Hand, the faithful martial arm of Sabbat society. Some in the Sabbat worry, though, that the Hand is granted too much freedom and may no longer be content to take orders. Does the Sword command the Hand, or does the Hand wield the Sword?
Sword of Caine is a mini expansion for Vampire: The Eternal Struggle, the twelfth expansion set from White Wolf. It is a Sabbat-themed expansion designed as a companion to the Third Edition, with emphasis on the Black Hand.
Each booster pack contains 11 cards randomly selected from a set of 60 all-new cards consisting of 20 rares, 20 vampires, and 20 commons.
